After Rowdy Tellez flew out on the first pitch (which advanced Christian Yelich to third), Keston Hiura added on a sacrifice fly to increase the lead to 3-0. That would end Alex Young’s day as Sean Hjelle entered in relief. He got Victor Caratini to line out and end the first.
The second inning was better for Peralta as he only needed fourteen pitches to get through a 1-2-3 inning. Meanwhile, the Brewers got a single in the bottom of the inning but nothing else. With the two-game series against the Giants done, the Brewers next welcome the Reds to American Family Field for a weekend series. Jason Alexander will start game one of the series against Nick Lodolo. First pitch is set for 7:10 PM.
